報告摘要:Cumulative damage models have played important roles in reliability theory, and their modellings in preventive maintenance policies have been studied extensively in literatures. In this talk, I am going to discuss with you seven other applications that we have studied in our works, such that Differential Backup, Schedule of Dead Lock, Financial Engineering, Financing of Bond, Public Key Expiration, Management of Garbage Collection and Optimization of Data Relocation Process.
報告人簡介:Professor Shoji Nakamura received B.S.E and Ph.D. degrees from Nagoya City University in 1972 and 2003, respectively. He was engaged in the planning and development of banking application systems at The Bank of Nagoya, and now is a Professor at Department of Human Life and Information, Kinjo Gakuin University, Nagoya, Japan. Professor Nakamura’s research interests are reliability and maintenance modellings, and the application models in computer science and financial engineering. He has published 3 books for the reliability applications and published over 50 journal papers. He is a member of ORSJ, PSJ, IEICE, INFORMS and others.
