報告人簡介:

Professor Yun Bai is Chair of Construction Materialsin the Department of Civil, Environmental & Geomatic Engineering (CEGE) atUniversity College London (UCL), Fellow of The UK Higher Education Academy(FHEA), Fellow of The Institute of Concrete Technology (FICT) and Fellow of TheInstitute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (FIMMM). He is also Head of theAdvanced and Innovative Materials (AIM) Group, Deputy Head of Civil EngineeringSection and Co-Director of UCL-UDM Advanced Infrastructure Research Centre(UUAIR). The current research themes covered by his research group include:novel low-carbon cementitious materials, advanced composite materials, rheologyof novel cement and concrete, durability of concrete structures, structuralhealth monitoring and nuclear waste immobilisation.  With some 150 journal and conference paperspublished in the above areas, Professor Bai has developed a research center incentral London to promote industry-driven and interdisciplinary research inmaterial science and engineering in order to provide leading edge, sustainablesolutions to the challenges facing engineers in today’s changing society andenvironment.
